Asit Modi Answers on Shailesh Lodha (Taarak Mehta)’s case

“Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” is a famous TV show that many people are talking about these days. But it’s not because of the story or twists in the show. It’s because the producer of the show, Asit Modi, and an actor named Shailesh Lodha are having a fight with each other. They are arguing with each other almost every day.

Actually, Shailesh Lodha, who played a character in the show, left the show in April 2022 and complained that he had not been paid for his work. Later, he took legal action against the production company to get his money and also filed a complaint against Asit Modi in March 2023. He even sued the production company. Shailesh Lodha is trying to solve this issue by going to a National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which will have a hearing this month.

Asit Modi says he doesn’t understand why Shailesh Lodha is doing this. According to him, the production company was in touch with Shailesh regarding his pending fees, but the actor did not fulfill his formalities.

Asit Modi revealed an inside story. According to Asit, “They wanted to work outside and participate in poetry events, but Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a daily soap. There are other people besides them here. In such a situation, it was not possible to fulfill their request. Last year in April, there was a minor dispute between us over this, after which they never returned to shooting. They left the show, we did not ask them to leave. We asked them to serve a three-month notice if they wished to leave the show, but they refused.”

So, in short, there is a fight going on between an actor and the producer of a popular TV show because the actor claims he hasn’t been paid for his work. They are now taking legal action against each other to solve the issue.
